International Day of Prayer for the persecuted church – We will be praying for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world and we will also participate in providing items for Action Packs. These packs are needed items for persecuted Christians in Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, many of whom are in refugee camps at this time. Here are the specific items that we are collecting – Please do not include any other items not on this list:
¨ blankets ¨ bed sheets ¨ towels ¨ jackets ¨ sweaters ¨ gloves/mittens
¨ solid color t-shirts ¨ socks ¨ bars of soap ¨ foam/sponge balls
Clothing can be: for adults or children; used but in good shape. Please bring items to church and place in designated box on IDOP Sunday, Nov. 1st. If you would like to pack your own Action Pack, go to www.persecution.com for more details.
On IDOP Sunday, there will also be a Voice of the Martyrs resource table will be available with free resources and books (for donation). Contact Peter or Medena Williams for more information on how you can be involved/help with the persecuted church. medenahope@gmail.com or peterbotros1@gmail.com
Proceeds will be used to bless the Franzone family with their adoption expenses.
Donated items can be delivered to Grace Community Church – Grace Hall building, Friday, Nov. 6th – between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Donations for the sale need to be priced and ready for sale when delivered.
Any items unsold at the close of the sale, will be donated to Waterfront Mission.
