Frequently Asked Questions

what will happen the first time i visit?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We have a visitor’s information card that you can choose to fill out if you would like more information about our church but our focus is simply to welcome you.

what should i wear?

Dress comfortably. Some people dress up, but most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Don’t worry about what you wear, as you’ll never feel out of place when you come casual.

what about my children?

At Grace Community Church your children are a top priority. Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We also offer children’s church (during the adult sermon for children ages 4-8). Our youth group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 to enjoy fellowship and studying God’s Word.

what is your style of worship?

We sing predominantly contemporary praise songs that seek to glorify and exalt our amazing God. We also recognize the great value in some of the older classic hymns of the faith and include them in our worship as well.

do you have a midweek service?

We do not have a midweek service as we encourage those who attend our church to get involved in one of our small groups that meet in various homes in the Pensacola area during the week.

why do you have small groups?

Small groups are an important part of Grace Community Church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our small groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will encourage you in your relationship with God. Small groups allow us to stay connected to one another and use the gifts and talents God has given us to build up others. We have groups that meet at various times and in various locations.
