Sermon Series:

“God’s grace never fails, but we can fail to take advantage of His grace.” Are there any areas of your life where you are attempting to race in your own strength?  What have been the results of your efforts?

What characteristics do we need to exhibit in order to pursue peace with others?  Is it always possible to live at peace with all people?  Are there any relationships in your life right now that are not at peace?  What efforts are you putting forth in an attempt to bring peace back into the relationship?

Esau was obviously someone who did not pursue holiness.  What lessons can we learn from his negative example?  Why do you think the blessing was unavailable to Esau even though he sought it with tears?

What differences do you see between the old covenant (Mt. Sinai) and the new covenant (Mt. Zion) as the author describes them here?  In what sense is the kingdom we are receiving “unshakable”?  How much of our efforts and resources are we investing in those things which will be shaken and removed compared to what will endure eternally?
