Sermon Series: 4 I's - Seeing Others Through the Eyes of Jesus

When you think of fear, what comes to your mind? In what areas of your life do you find it hard to peacefully trust in God? How do you emotionally react when you are challenged to be more intentional about sharing the truth of Jesus with friends, neighbors, co-workers?

What reasons does the Lord give to the believers in Isaiah 41:10 to let go of fear?

“Living sold out lives for Christ is impossible without his help and it will (and should) regularly place us in situations where we are sorely tempted to be afraid”
Do you agree with this statement? In what areas of your life are you living in such a way that if God doesn’t show up to help you will be in deep trouble?

What role does prayer play in your life when you feel in control of the situations you face? How does that change when you are faced with issues beyond your own ability to handle? Which attitude pleases the Lord more?
