What examples in Exodus 1 do you see of God delighting to use those who are weak and insignificant in the eyes of the world to accomplish his purposes? What does the naming of the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah, and the failure to name the Pharaoh in this chapter tell us about who the Lord views as significant?
Acting contrary to the will of a Pharaoh with absolute authoritarian power would have been a daunting challenge for Shiphrah and Puah! What enabled these Hebrew midwives to act so boldly? Following Jesus is often challenging in a world that rejects his truth. Are there any
