How is the undeserved grace of God related to the consequences of the choices we make? How do our choices impact the blessing of God upon our lives? What connection do you observe between the choices Jacob’s sons made during their lives and the prophetic blessing given by Jacob before he died?
It has been said, “Last words are lasting words.” What would you communicate with those you love if you knew that the Lord was calling you home soon? In view of the fragile nature of our lives, what is keeping you from sharing your heart now before it is too late?
Despite Joseph’s kind treatment of his brothers, they still feared his wrath (50:15). Why do you think this caused Joseph to break down and weep? If Joseph is a type or picture of Jesus, how do you think the Lord reacts when we don’t trust in his love, fear his wrath, and keep our distance from him because we think he’s still angry with us? Ask the Lord for a greater understanding of his amazing love (Eph. 3:14-21)
